Government Computing microsite showcases the provision of better, faster and cheaper public services

Government Computing's new microsite in association with Microsoft focuses on how organisations are providing digital leadership in the datacentre.

This month on the Digital Leadership in the Datacentre site, you'll find a video interview with Leeds City Council's chief information officer Dylan Roberts who discusses how the council's strategic relationship with Microsoft is helping Leeds use ICT to deliver the services of the future.

You can also read about how IT - particularly through virtualisation and by standardising on Microsoft technologies - is enabling the Isle of Man to be more effective, efficient and crucially, customer focused.

Coming soon, the site will also discuss the extensive use of virtualisation and standardisation employed by another local authority and carry a further video interview demonstrating technology leadership in the police and emergency services within the public sector.
